Florence (Italy), 24th July2014 ? Powersoft gives high priority to spreading knowledge in the field of sound engineering, and the Sound School training tour is the proof. Kuala Lumpur was the first stop, followed by Singapore (at Electronic & Engineering?s HQ) with the final destination in Tokyo, where two sessions were held ? one in English and another for Japanese speakers only. Each Sound School session was arranged in collaboration with Powersoft distributors ? Electronics & Engineering in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, Matsuda Trading in Tokyo ? and the goal was mostly to allow attendees to experience the potential of the Armonía Pro Audio Suite software through a practical hands-on live demo and to learn technologies behind Powersoft?s amplification.  ? Every single course attracted around 40-50 attendees,? says Luigi Chelli, Sound School Trainer and Powersoft sound engineer, ? I was initially concerned about the level of difficulty for the attendees, but everything went smoothly. The audience was well prepared and able to follow even the deepest technical parts of the training. They were extremely receptive about all the little details and tricks shown during the training .? The Powersoft Sound School offers the highest level of professional training to sound system designers, system integrators, sound engineers, audio technicians and pro-audio dealers. It is not an extended brand promotion exercise and its aim is to efficiently support the professionals who work with Powersoft products. ? Teaching and training are very important aspects for us and have a vital impact in the industry in the medium-to-long term ,? states Francesco Fanicchi, Powersoft marketing and communication manager. ? Above all, we strive to encourage the training of young people with a strong passion for audio and provide all the dynamics to drive the professional industry forward .? The course programme started by introducing the basics of the Armonía Pro Audio Suite software: how to establish the initial connection to the amplifiers and how to wire the system to achieve the best results in terms of redundancy and fail-safe operation. This was followed with advanced training on the DSP capabilities, covering all the finer details that can really enhance the performances of any PA, such as Active Damping Control, raised cosine and FIR equalization. The second part of the training courses included some real-world action, tuning a PA from scratch, making a preset ex-novo by using the advanced features just learnt. Many additional external tools ? which usually make the life of anyone involved in sound reinforcement easier - were then shown, followed by an extensive Q&A session that concluded every single course. Clearly the Sound School had achieved its objectives, judging from the comments. At Matsuda Trading (MTC) Kiyoshi reports that he learnt a good deal, and that the July 3rd seminar was both ?informative and useful?. He said, ?The seminar certainly developed customer interest in Armonía, as they made positive efforts to ask questions .? And as for the customers themselves, their feedback ranged from requesting further seminars of a similar nature (particularly raising awareness of the Powersoft K series to one who said, ? I realized I hadn?t been fully utilizing the real cutting-edge features of Armonía. Now all that will change .?
