Challenge

Malls and shopping centers require rock-solid systems, able to be used as crowd control and safety systems when the need arises. The system takes multiple roles, as it is tasked to provide uniform sound distribution throughout and to reproduce different streams to specific areas/shops.

Solution

Powersoft’s install dedicated amplifier platforms are equipped with in-built safety features such as redundant power supplies and extensive protections. Through the dedicated GPI, it is possible to connect these clever devices to preexisting security systems. Remote control and monitoring, as well as the possibility to tailor the Armonía interface to avoid tampering by unauthorized personnel, makes the install line the perfect partner covering all sound amplification needs.

Mezzo Series

Retail

System Overview:

In this retail application, the system is divided into three zones with a central Dante audio source. Analog wall controllers provide local volume control for each zone. A Dante announcement microphone can be used to provide all zone announcement by utilizing Mezzo’s priority inputs capability that is available in the source selection of the DSP.

Key Features:

Full power-sharing allows for the flexible use of sub-woofer and high impendence loudspeakers.
Analog volume control enables the user to control the zone’s local output to match the ambiance.
The compact size of Mezzo enables it to be mounted in a space constraint area like a reception desk.

Mezzo Series and Ottocanali Series

Shopping center

System Overview:

Thanks to the combination of Mezzo and Ottocanali 3 different background music sources can be selected for each floor of this multi-floor shopping center using the GPI inputs available. Utilizing the built-in DSP power of the products will allow for cost-saving and efficient integration and save on the cost of additional equipment. The small footprint will save cabling, rack space, and wiring.

System Overview:

In this prime supermarket example, audio quality and flexibility will complete the shopping experience. This system, consisting of a combination of Mezzo and Ottocanali DSP+ D, is comparted among the various ails and areas and allows for individual source and volume control.
