Seminars tour: Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina

September 11th, 2018.Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina. Together with local distributors, Powersoft, world leader in amplification platforms, carried out a series of workshops and seminars in Salvador, Recife and Sao Paulo (Brazil), Montevideo (Uruguay) and Buenos Aires (Argentina).

In Brazil

Seminars in Brazil were done together with River Music Pro, Powersoft’s distributor in the country. The first one was in Salvador, Bahia, as part of an event called “Super Audio Week”, that gathered different conferences for audio professionals.

A general company and product lines review was done there, plus a preview on the new software version the company will release by the end of the month. The seminar was presented by Gilberto Morejón, Powersoft’s CALA sales manager, Powersoft’s consultant engineer Luca Staefani and product specialist for Brazil, Gera Vieira.

The second one was in Recife, Pernambuco, where a detailed seminar on Armonía Pro Audio Suite was offered by Powersoft’s new application engineer, Thiago Terra together with Gera Vieira.

The last date in this country was in Sao Paulo where Thiago and Gera did a seminar more focused on the install line which was carried out at the SENAI (National Service on Industrial Learning) technical institute. This activity was part of a new technical course to train AV install technicians and opened new doors for a prosperous collaboration between SENAI and Powersoft in training and educating future integrators on new techniques and technologies built in Powersoft products.

In Uruguay

Montevideo was the chosen city to carry out the first Powersoft’s official educative activity in Uruguay. The event was organized together with Equaphon, distributor in Argentina and Uruguay, and was a seminar focused on sound systems optimization using the Armonía software.

Thiago and Gilberto were also there to provide attendees with all the needed information on the company and the software’s performance to help them in their professional jobs.

In Argentina

Activities in this country were two: an Armonía seminar also focused on audio systems optimization done at Equaphon's factory, and another one in the Universidad de Palermo university.

In Equaphon’s factory, inside the engineering department, the workshop was directed to sound engineers from the most important and well-known local rental companies. This time, the goal was to train them on all the features the latest Armonía version brings. Attendees to this workshop had the latest software version uploaded in their notebooks so they could apply and practice simultaneously all the contents Thiago explained.

The Universidad de Palermo’s event was on Powersoft amplifiers for the install market, which include the Duecanali, Quattrocanali and Ottocanali Series, besides explaining their interaction with the Armonía software.

arlos Maiocchi, Equaphon’s general manager, commented: “General feedback from attendees was good and constructive, focused on the will of getting deeper knowledge on all the possibilities Armonía provides and the impact produced by the fact that it’s a software that adapts to the way in which each user works: one function can be developed in many different ways”.

Thiago Terra, new Powersoft’s application engineer, who started working in the company recently, said: “Seminars were very productive and we got excellent results. Attendees could see the potential of the new Armonía version, which brings new features and possibilities that make our work in system design, configuration and alignment easier”.

Gilberto added: “These were important activities in cities that normally aren’t part of the general seminar circuit for companies in our sector. Salvador and Recife in the North of Brazil and Montevideo were highlighted places where we did seminars for the first time and had a very good feedback. The impact was such that participants are already asking when we will do other conferences to present a complete training session on the Armonía software”.
