More Powersoft equipment for Rose in Río

Buenos Aires, Argentina. September 19th, 2018.Since its opening in August 2017, Rose in Río has positioned as the most growing nightclub in Buenos Aires scene.

To continue providing high entertainment standards, owners decided to carry out some adjustments in the indoor area and mainly the big outdoor terrace with views to the Río de la Plata river.

A Powersoft M50Q DSP+ETH amplifier was added to the main indoor dance floor powering eight STS Linea V10 audio systems - STS is manufactured by Equaphon, Powersoft’s distributor in Argentina and Uruguay.

Each channels handles two STS Linea V10s independently for main system’s reinforcement, which are located at both sides of the DJ booth. This way when having a DJ performance, the main PA system is built by four STS Linea V10s each side.

The rack is now composed of onePowersoft X4and fivePowersoft M50Q DSP+ETHamplifiers, all controlled by Armonía Pro Audio Suite software.

Another change was the addition of a second DJ booth in the biggest terrace, where people could enjoy an outdoor ambience independent from the venue’s indoor dance floor during the summer nights.

Six STS Linea V5s (three per side) and four STS Concerto SUBs (two per side) were installed as part of the main system to provide sound in this area.

The system is powered by two Powersoft K3 DSP+AESOPs and oneK10 DSP+AESOP. “We got a wide well-covered outdoor dance floor and a great sound thanks to this equipment”, said Carlos Maiocchi, General Manager at Equaphon.

All the new equipment added here is controlled and monitored using Armonía too.

Two STS Cantata+s and two STS Concerto miniSUB+s - self-powered with Powersoft D-Cell504 modules - were installed for DJ monitoring.

Thanks to this combination, STS audio systems and Powersoft amplifiers continue with the goal of providing a uniform audio coverage all over Rose in Río and having individual level control in different areas to adjust the system according to where the audience is located.
