Buenos Aires, Argentina. May 16th, 2016 – Buenos Aires Live Show is one of the most highlighted companies in Argentina providing services and equipment for a huge variety of installations and projects, from live shows, theaters, tours, corporate events to full technical production.

Created in 1992, based in Buenos Aires, the company acts not only all over the Argentine territory but also internationally, having participated in tours over many bordering countries.

Their technical staff’s ability and knowledge and the enormous quantity of devices they have in stock allow them to work in different projects at the same time, such as it happens during the hectic high season over the first months of each year.

Participation at the festival Lollapalooza has been choosing Buenos Aires as one of its bases for several years now, always taking place at the Hipódromo de San Isidro racecourse venue and this year it had the participation of many international bands like Eminem, Florence + The Machine, Mumford & Sons and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, among others, plus some local bands like Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas, Babasonicos, Leo García and more. All of them acted for a crowd of almost 200,000 people over both days.

For providing the right sound to every corner of the venue, BALS trusted in Powersoft amplifiers once again.

In total, 72 Powersoft K10, K8 and X4 amplifiers were used. The X4 model was used for the Front Fill system which was built by four JBL Vertec 4889-1 loudspeakers.

On Stage 1, Powersoft units worked with several AA 2x21” Infra subwoofers and in delay towers equipped with JBL Vertec 4889-1s. On the other hand, on Stage 2 Powersoft amplifiers were used to power the complete JBL Vertec 4889-1 system, having a total of 40 loudspeakers and 30 AA 2x21” subwoofers, plus delay towers containing JBL Vertec 4889-1s.

Speaking of consoles, they had different models available with brands like Digico, Venue and Yamaha “The performance of Powersoft’s products was excellent, as usual! Foreign engineers and technicians were surprised by their audio and efficiency, working together with the JBL Vertex 4889-1 system”, highlighted Diego Aballay, Audio Technical Manager at Buenos Aires Live Show.

Powersoft is distributed in Argentina by Equaphon, a company that provides continuous support to BALS in every event they do.
