Escenarios Uruguay is doing events with Powersoft in the Latin country

Río Negro, Uruguay. April 3rd, 2017.Escenarios Uruguaystarted out in the 1980s producing all kind of parties under other company name. In 1990 their services were expanded as a professional audio and lighting provider, and finally in 2013 decided to change to their current name to include also trusses.

The company is located in the city of Fray Bentos, department of Río Negro, Uruguay, but also has an office in Montevideo, and they dedicate to the installation and rental of trusses, sound and lighting for high level events and shows, besides providing advice, technical support and integral services to sub-hire the equipment they don’t have in stock, like screens and UPS.

The company is headed by Juan Carlos Balestrino, in charge of the sound and lighting area, and his son Camilo Balestrino, who is a civil engineer and oversees the trusses department.

Although they work all over Uruguay, most part of the production is focused on Soriano and Río Negro, where events are done with audio equipment from brands like Yamaha, STS Pro Audio and Powersoft.

Escenarios Uruguay acquired their first Powersoft K10 and K3 amplifiers in 2013 - through Equaphon, Powersoft distributor in Uruguay and Argentina - and has been constantly using them ever since.

“Powersoft amplifiers are amazing. The sound gear we work with changed dramatically when we started using Powersoft and it made us feel safer, both in reliability and loudspeakers care”, Juan Carlos commented.

Among the most highlighted events Escenarios Uruguay has recently done with their Powersoft amplifiers we can name several electronic music parties in Punta del Este, a three-shows outdoors tour by music group

Cuarteto de Nos in different departments of the country and also Johnnie Walker’s REDvolution Party in the Museo Oceanográfico of Montevideo, with an average of 3,000 people each.

Escenarios Uruguay provided full technical production service for all of them, including sound, lights, trusses, screens and UPS. For the sound system, they used STS V10 and STS Concerto SUB units from Argentine manufacturer STS Pro Audio, powered by the K10 and K3 amplifiers in the company’s stock. The system was adjusted and supervised by Mateo Gargiulo, the company’s technical service manager.

“We had a really good result in each case. We could satisfy all the SPL and sound quality demands, specially during the Cuarteto de Nos shows, that were the most demanding ones technically speaking”, Mateo said. “The performance of Powersoft amplifiers was excellent. They took good care of the equipment and made it worked beyond what we expected”.

In all the events the company participates, they use the Armonía Pro Audio Suite software. “We always use it! It is an essential tool for us. I think the sound equipment is not the same without it. The practicality, control and monitoring capabilities we need at the time of adjusting the system can all be found in Armonía”, Gargiulo concluded.
