Powersoft Presents "Innovationville. Home Of Green Audio" During Prolight+Sound 2013

Frankfurt, Germany 11 April, 2013- Not everyone seems to understand what Innovation really means. Powersoft wants to provide an answer with its new booth "Innovationville" during the Prolight+Sound 2013 in Frankfurt. The booth is arranged to highlight the skills that Powersoft has achieved in advanced electronics for high-end applications in the professional audio market: 140 square meters divided into 6 different areas, each one of them dedicated to a specific Powersoft product line or its latest technology.

Entering "Innovationville" will be like starting a futuristic journey into the world of professional audio.

The visit starts on the Touring Road where people can see the first of two "amp kebabs"; this one is dedicated to Powersoft's well known touring amplifiers: M Series and K series. Milestones of switch-mode amplification providing incredible power in a single rack unit with the lowest weight and highest efficiency, these amplifiers are easy to haul around and are a reliable investment for many highly reputed tour sound companies. Thanks to the most recent collaboration with AFMG FirMaker, Powersoft has integrated AFMG's new FIRmaker technology. Based on state-of-the-art acoustic optimization algorithms, AFMG FIRmaker allows fast and highly precise generation of system FIR filters tailored to the venue. These can now be loaded directly into Powersoft's flagship product lines, the K series of amplifiers and the DSP4 module for powered loudspeakers.

Proceeding further along the same street, there is the second "amp kebab" for Permanent Installations. Here it is possible to see and touch the wonderful new line of Installation amplifiers namely the Ottocanali 4K4, Ottocanali 8K4 and the Ottocanali 12K4. Extremely flexible and reliable, these new products have been designed to work at low or high impedance, can run at 2 Ohms as a standard operational parameter and can power 70V and 100V distributed lines without needing external transformers. Every amplifier in this series has two universal switch mode power supplies with Power Factor Correction that independently power a set of 4 channels.

This futuristic journey goes through the displays of Amp Modules Lane where all loudspeakers constructors can admire DigiMod 3004PFC4, an amplifier module featuring 4 output channels specifically designed for multi-way loudspeakers and asymmetric loads. Integrating all 4 channels and the power supply in a single chassis, the highly compact design makes the DigiMod 3004PFC4 a unique product. The DigiMod 3004PFC is fully compatible with all existing Powersoft DSP solutions, and together with the DSP-4, it is the most advanced platform for 3-way active systems.

Walking along further, it is possible to see the revolutionary product the audio industry is still talking about ? DEVA. This revolutionary new multimedia device integrates solar power, bi-directional wireless A/V communication, lighting and an extremely efficient Class D amplifier all in a compact, weather-proof enclosure. DEVA can be used in a wide range of applications, from background music to paging, in combination with video and/or audio surveillance. With standard Wi-Fi 802.11n communication and 'green' solar power rechargeable batteries on board, Deva is independent from any existing infrastructure.

The tour ends in Future Grove, where Powersoft presents and announces the ultimate paradigm shift in low frequency applications namely M-Force. Run by Powersoft switch-mode technology, perfectly integratable with differential pressure control technology and characterized by a genuine push-pull engine, M-Force is designed for loudspeaker manufacturers.
