Universal Music Incorporates Kadu Melo to Give Powersoft Support

Sao Paulo, Brazil. August, 1st 2016 – Kadu Melo is not a stranger in the Brazilian audio industry. His career began in 2000 when he started working for Tukasom, one of the biggest companies in the local market, and it was there where he got a huge know-how, collaborating for 10 years. “All I know about small to big sound systems I learnt it there. After leaving Tukasom, I started working with different artists. I mixed for Pedro Mariano, Mafalda Minnozzi, Pedro e Thiago, Grupo Sensação, Filk, Jorge Ben Jorge, and now I´m in charge of F.O.H. for singer Fabio Jr.”, Kadu said.

In so many years of experience with Tukasom, Kadu was in contact with different Powersoft amplifiers. The first line he worked with was the K Series, putting it under test in a subwoofer assembly for a big space that needed a new sound system. “When we saw such a small amplifier, we didn’t believe it could do all the things explained in the catalog, but it really did! It was such a surprising experience”, he recalled.

He had also the change of using them several times together with different sound systems, like the JBL Vertec. “They definitely set a big difference, giving a very consistent sound with a unique clarity. By guaranteeing that the system is clean and efficient, you can have power and clarity at the same time, something unusual today”.

Among his favorite Powersoft models we find the X Series. “It’s lovely and it has a big capacity, not only in power but all the trust it gives us with its protection systems and efficiency in unfavorable conditions, as in the case of performing with low input power, or the congested processing capacity. According to my opinion, it is the richest tool in terms of audio processing: impressive and futuristic”.

A new experience At Universal Music, Powersoft exclusive distributor in Brazil with the support of River Music, Kadu will be developing a position as Product Specialist, being in charge of explaining clients and audio professional all the technical features found in Powersoft products to reinforce sales.

To improve his knowledge on Powersoft amplifiers and learn on every technical feature and technologies used by the company - including the Armonía software -, Kadu spent four days for training at Powersoft headquarters in Florence, Italy.

Luca Gianni, Systems Engineering Manager at Powersoft, said: “We spent quite some time looking at modules, models, types and Kadu was indeed pretty happy to see what is behind our amplifiers!”.
