NR Audio used Powersoft at the “Virada Cultural” event in Sao Paulo

Sao Paulo, Brazil. July, 6th 2016 –NR Audio was created in 1992, reaching its first 25 years in 2017. Based in São José do Rio Preto (inland of Sao Paulo state), most of the jobs they do today are in Sao Paulo’s capital. Since its founding, the company has worked in parties, DVD recordings, different kinds of events and stages, but over the last years, they decided to focus mainly on religious events. “Not as a way of earning money, but as a will of preaching the Gospel”, said Rogério Cocenzo, NR Audio’s director. Among the projects done, they had the chance of carrying out many shows with local artists and also some international ones, with names like Roberto Carlos, Pato Banton, George Clinton, and others. they also work with religious TV stations, such as TV Canção Nova and Rede Gospel (Renascer em Cristo), “which have motivated us to provide excellence in equipment and high-quality services. Today, we look more and more for evangelization event as a priority in our agenda, since they really valorize excellence and a good assistance value”, he highlighted. To achieve this, NR Audio has at disposal of all clients a technical team specialized in sound, lighting, projections, LED panels, stages and power generators, always in the search of more and more state-of-the-art equipment to satisfy the market demand in the segment they serve.

Italian Powersoft amplifiers are part of that equipment. “We have been using Powersoft for some years and especially now even more, since River Music - the main dealer of Universal Music, Powersoft’s distributor in the country - is also bases in São José do Rio Preto!”, Rogério commented. Currently, the company has 10 Powersoft amplifiers in its stock, containing models K2, M50Q and X4, which have been recently used in the cultural event called “Virada Cultural Paulista” in the city of Franca, 400 Km away from the Sao Paulo’s capital, last May 28th, and 29th. The project had the perform of different music bands and a DJ acting for 10.000 people approx. On the stage, the PA system was composed of a D.A.S Audio Aero 50 line array plus some Aero 182 subwoofers using an Avid Venue Mix Rack console on the PA and a Yamaha PM5D RH for monitoring. For this event, Powersoft X4 amplifiers were used for the PA, while some Powersoft M50Qs were at monitors and some Powersoft K2 was in charge of subwoofers at side fill. “It was really good to use Powersoft amplifiers at the Virada Cultural. I’ve been working with them in monitoring for almost a year and now we’re going to start using the X Series. We’re already preparing the sound system to turn them into action”, commented Adilson Souza Figueira, NR Audio’s technician. “Powersoft has high-quality products above the average of other brands in the current market. As a rental company, we have to think about device maintenance because, although they are very robust, they can be damaged for several factors. Luckily for us, today we have in Brazil this maintenance warranty which gives us certain security when investing in the brand”, the company’s director concluded. Some other highlighted events where NR Audio has been using Powersoft included the DVD recording for Brazilian Christian rock band Katsbarnea, Lendas show and the Videira Church Congress.
