MuriloSantos Locações Inteligentes gets X4 amplifiers

Bahia, Brazil. October 5th, 2017.Powersoft is gaining more presence in Brazil, where companies of all sizes are adopting the Italian brand’s technology. Such is the case with MuriloSantos Locações Inteligentes, a company located in the city of Luís Eduardo Magalhães, in Bahia, which did in July this year its first acquisition of Powersoft amplifiers from the X Series.

MuriloSantos Locações Inteligentes is a company created in May 2009, by owner Murilo Santos. It was initially called Universom Sonorização, however, in June 2016 the company went through some refinement and changed the name to the current one, focusing more on small, medium and big events. Activities vary from a small bar with voice and guitar performances to a big public or private show.

Talking about equipment, the audio system which is actually the main one in MuriloSantos is a PA by Brazilian company NewBox Acoustic NBA using a line array model 1261 and NBA HBP 218 subwoofers, both powered by Powersoft!

At the end of July 2017, more specifically on the 22nd, the company bought Powersoft X4 amplifiers through River Music Pro - main dealer of Universal Music, Powersoft’s distributor in Brazil -, having the participation of HouseMix Pro Audio (a store MuriloSantos has been a client for many years which acted as intermediary for closing the deal), and the action started right away, having the first event with the new amplifiers from July 27th to 30th, in the city of Wanderley, Bahia.

The delivery of the Powersoft X4s was done by Danismael Gouveia, River Music Pro’s manager, who carried out a quick training to explain MuriloSantos’s technician Marcus Vinícius (BAM) the amplifiers features.

“We didn’t have a lot of time for the training but the explanation was very good. We hope to coordinate a more detailed training in our headquarters soon so we can optimize the equipment’s performance”, commented Murilo, the rental company’s owner.

“Today there is no other amplification brand that can beat Powersoft in the whole world!”, he continued. “We chose the X4 Series because we knew it would fulfill our current demand and with the units we acquired we are already prepared to increase the quantity of loudspeakers in our PA system”.

The first event done with six Powersoft X4s, in Wanderley, was the Corn Celebration, a traditional event which is done annually in the city and had more than 12 musical attractions, famous all over Brazil, reaching an audience of 20,000 people some nights.

This was followed by the Evangelical Day (August 2nd in the city of Barreras, Bahia) with the performance of gospel band Preto no Branco for approximately 6,000 people.

“Powersoft amplifiers are awesome and the result on these shows was magnificent! We have even used the Armonía software which is really good and helped us a lot. It is intuitive and, unlike other platforms that have to stick with traditional filters and poor limiting, we can use a combination of FIR and IIR technologies, combined with five different limiters to guarantee the best sonic performance and safety of operation”, BAM concluded.
