Acoustic Arts appointed Powersoft Distribution Hub for North India

Audio and amplification specialists Powersoft has continued its growth momentum in the Asian market with the addition of Acoustic Arts Pvt. Ltd. as its latest distribution hub for North India.
“We have known Powersoft for many years and have always had great respect for the brand. We were earlier involved in the distribution of a competing amplifier brand that got acquired by another company. So, we figured it was time for us to move on and incidentally, Powersoft was also restructuring their business in India at around the same time. The decision was unquestionably the next logical step and we have high hopes for a hugely successful partnership,” shared Sidharth Chhibber, Director of Acoustic Arts.
He further enthused, “We have an incredible portfolio of products and a large loyal clientele of system integrators and resellers who are involved in pretty much every vertical market. Powersoft has an awesome range of products suitable for every conceivable application, so it fits perfectly into our agenda. We are already seeing a lot of momentum building up.”
Acoustic Arts was founded in 1999 and is involved in the sales and distribution of AV products from some of the most established manufacturers in the world, including Biamp, Audix, AMX, TW Audio, Community, Beyerdynamic, Christie, Emotiva, SVS and Velodyne.
With the addition of Powersoft to their brand portfolio, Sidharth is enthusiastic about putting Powersoft amplifiers at the forefront of India's pro audio/ install markets, “We believe Powersoft will soon be 'the dominant amplifier brand' in this region and we are committed to doing whatever it takes to make that happen!”
Karl Kahlau, Executive Director - India at Powersoft S.p.A. adds, “In the build-up of our new sales and support efforts for the Indian Subcontinent (ISC), we welcome Mr. Chhibber and his team at Acoustic Arts joining us as our Distribution Hub for the northern region of India. Their excellent reputation and recognition on the Indian market is already evident to become a valuable asset to us and their profile fits perfectly into the general plan we have for our expansion for the region. Acoustic Arts enjoys both motivation as well as the product portfolio to do this correctly, so needless to say we look very much forward in this cooperation.”
