SOLUTIONS ENGINEER

Overview

The Solutions Engineer (SE) is a technical role with a focus on customers/partners and is part of the Sales organization. SE’s primary responsibility is to work in cooperation with Business Development and Sales Department with the responsibility to explore vertical markets engaging Specifiers and Key Accounts.

SE supports the pre-sales process working alongside the sales team to identify customers’ needs and help them focus on Powersoft products and solutions. To be effective, an SE needs to have technical skills, knowledge of pro audio systems and fixed install solutions, and the ability to manage customer interactions and develop business relationships. The SE is a trusted advisor who proactively learns and understands technical and business challenges and can propose efficient and effective solutions to Customers.

The Solutions Engineer will be based in Powersoft HQ premises in Florence and the nature of the role could require travel up to 50% of the time and working across time zones. Responsibility and duties

• Consultants & Specifiers Scouting: organizing meetings, technical presentations, demos and dedicated trainings.
• Identify technical project requirements and provide operational support through remote sessions and on-site presence.
• Coordinate with sales team providing technical documents, product analysis and system design.
• Handle Technical support: troubleshooting on system configuration for Key Accounts, System Integrators, Consultants, Distributors and Manufacturers.
• Grow Powersoft brand awareness through official tradeshows and client’s visits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Sound Engineering or Equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience with design and installation of AV systems
• Sales attitude
• Understanding of audio distribution protocols, like Dante, AES67, AVB, Milan…
• Familiarity with control systems like Crestron, QSC, Symetrix…
• Problem-solving ability
• Training skill
• Teamwork and active-listening skills
• Familiar in using Windows OS, Network tools, Office suite, CRM and ticketing system
• Self-motivated and goal oriented
• Fluent English, speaking and writing Qualifications that would be a plus

QUALITY ASSURANCE TEAM LEADER

Responsibilities:

• Work with Quality Assurance Group and Quality Control Group to establish quality requirements across the business to drive quality improvements and low product and process fault rate
• Develop, implement and coordinate product quality assurance programs to prevent or eliminate new or existing product defects through the Quality team
• Support in the collection of approval of product test reports
• Measure performance and identify any areas of weakness, recommending and implementing improvements to ensure products defined to appropriate quality level and cost and increase efficiency
• Perform regular quality assessments based on ISO 9001 quality standard
• Contributes to development and continuous improvement of necessary audio systems to assure compliance to worldwide regulations and corporate policies
• Internal Non-Conformity Analysis (Root Cause Analysis – Corrective Actions)
• Analysis of Customer Reports and Analysis and Application of Corrective Actions (8D)
• Resolve quality and compliance related issues in a timely manner

Role:

The Product Management Specialist works as part of a Product Manager Team and is responsible for conceiving products and output systems for the professional audio industry. The ideal candidate will be someone with extensive experience in the professional Audio/Visual market.

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in audio system design ad a blend of business and technical competencies and will collaborate proactively and extensively with a cross-functional team setting to support the product through its entire life cycle. A key expectation of this role is the ability to collaborate with key customers, developers, and System Architects to define product innovation points, assess the feasibility of product requirements, and support the development process.

Tasks And Responsibilities:

• Deliver detailed product requirements that reflect the company’s strategic direction and market needs.
• Proactively conduct research and establish interaction with key customers to define and frame what to build.
• Interact with relevant cross-functional teams to guide feasibility studies and create the requirements documentation that allows the development of high-value products.

REQUIREMENTS:
