Overview

Solutions Engineer (SE) is a technical role part of the sales BU and is very strategic because contributes to creating and reinforcing relationships with customers and partners at all levels. Primary responsibility is to manage the pre-sales process working alongside the sales team to identify customers’ needs and help them focus on Powersoft products and solutions. To be effective, an SE needs to have technical skills, knowledge of pro audio systems and fixed install solutions, and a strong ability to manage customer interactions. From the customers’ perspective, the SE is a trusted advisor who proactively learns and understands their technical and business challenges and can propose efficient and effective solutions. SE will develop pre-sales activities by conducting discovery calls, delivering presentations, and demonstrating key features and the advantages of Powersoft solutions in coordination with SE Team strategy. SE will also provide technical support by responding to technical queries by Customers (Key Accounts, System Integrators, Consultants, Distributors, Manufacturers…), and organize training activities. SE works in cooperation with the Business Development & Sales Departments with the main responsibilities of handling Consultants’ relationships and following big projects.

Responsibility and duties

  • Support all pre-sales phases providing specifications advice, product analysis, technical information, and design solutions for customers’ projects
  • Develop and deliver technical training to Powersoft customers and partners
  • Provide operational support to major installation projects or performance PA systems through remote or on-site activities
  • Analyse tender documents for supporting potential customers and system integrators in their submissions and create technical documents about the proposed solutions
  • Pro-actively represent Powersoft and grow brand awareness in tradeshows, networking events, and client’s visits

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sound Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience with the design and installation of Pro AV systems
  • Strong knowledge of AoIP protocols
  • Training skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Customer-oriented attitude
  • Teamwork and active-listening skills
  • Self-motivation and ability to work for targets
  • Knowledge of Windows OS, and CRM systems
  • Availability to travel 50% of the time Qualifications that would be a plus
  • Able to speak a 2nd and/or 3rd language
  • Familiarity with control systems like Q-SYS, Crestron, Symetrix, Control4, etc.

Role

  • Leading Electroacoustic Developments and Integration with Inhouse Electronic Technologies
  • Concept, Feasibility, Timing, and preliminary Cost assessments

 

Requirements

  • MUST HAVE: Strong Passion for Audio Technologies and Sound
  • MUST HAVE: Out-of-the-box thinking, Strategic, and creative thinker with proven experience in working on diverse and wide-ranging problems
  • MUST HAVE: Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Electroacoustic or Mechanic
  • MUST HAVE: Expertise in Electronic Simulation, FEM and FEA, 3D CAD, Signal Processing
  • MUST HAVE: Fluent English
  • MUST HAVE: Availability to settle in Italy and travel abroad.

Coerentemente con la crescita e lo sviluppo del business stiamo espandendo ulteriormente la nostra area Operations ricercando nello specifico la figura di Sourcing Manager.

La figura prescelta si occuperà di identificare e gestire i rapporti con i fornitori/distributori nazionali ed internazionali, riferiti al mercato della Componentistica Elettronica.

Avrà inoltre il compito di supportare costantemente l’area R&D durante il processo di sviluppo di nuovi prodotti, con l’obiettivo di ottimizzare il processo di sourcing dei componenti e la vendor base

Con una esperienza trascorsa all’interno di organizzazioni strutturate, si ricerca un candidato/a, con specifica competenza nel mondo della componentistica elettronica, che abbia maturato un significativo percorso come responsabile all’interno di aziende del settore di riferimento.

Responsabilità principali

  • Definizione delle strategie di acquisto dei componenti elettronici
  • Identificazione e selezione di nuovi fornitori
  • Gestione dei rapporti con i distributori e manufacturer
  • Gestione delle trattative di acquisto relative alla componentistica elettronica
  • Definizione dei contratti di fornitura per l’area di competenza
  • Supporto alla funzione R&D / Engineering nello sviluppo dei nuovi prodotti

Technical skills

Indispensabili

  • Conoscenza specifica della componentistica elettronica e del mercato di riferimento
  • Laurea in Ingegneria Elettronica o Diploma di Perito Elettronico
  • Precedente esperienza in ruoli di responsabilità e coordinamento
  • Lingua Inglese C1

Nice to have

  • Conoscenza sistemi ERP (Oracle JDE opzionale)
  • Ottima conoscenza di MS Office/Excel

Project Manager

The successful candidate should report to a Senior PM and have a clear view of the overall process related to product development, manage activities for product improvement and maintenance, and ensure the correct alignment between department needs, business expectations, and technical requirements.

The PM acts as a continuous reference throughout the project delivery in order to meet the key targets in terms of the project delivery schedule.

 

Role:

  • Support the whole product development process in collaboration with the business areas
  • (research and development, engineering, production, marketing, sales, technical assistance);
  • Apply and implement Powersoft project management processes, organisation, and tools;
  • Manage project team, people interaction, and task assignment
  • Avoid as much as possible critical paths into the project plans and take, where possible, time margins for activities;
  • Implement a structured Risk Management Plan, in order to identify and assess the risks,
  • define the action plans and relevant owners to reduce key risks,
  • Monitor and report the overall project status, collaborate with managers in the preparation and presentation of the “work in progress” status,
  • schedule meetings with managers, and deliberate actions to be taken;
  • Respect agreed program constraints (timing, cost, product quality…).

Requirements:

Must have

  • Electronic sector knowledge
  • At least 2 years of experience in the role, inside production companies, and Knowledge of planning
  • Experience with software development, engineering, and production of electromechanical products topics;
  • Fluent English knowledge;

 

Nice to have

  • In-deep understanding of Contract Requirements and the Customer priorities
  • Identification of the Project Key Success Criteria
  • Development of a comprehensive Deliverables Breakdown Structure (DBS)
  • Development of a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
  • Development of an Organisation Breakdown Structure (OBS) and of a Responsibility Assignment Matrix (RAM)
  • Development of the Project Schedule
  • Establishment of a Baseline for the Work Plan
